DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & TECHNOLOGY
Dale McEldowney, PhD joined Clearfield in 2024, bringing over 20 years of extensive technical knowledge in engineering, manufacturing and powder metal technology. Dale’s responsibilities include business development & growth, opening new sales markets and serving as lead contact for current customers. He also will be relied on for technical leadership within the company and for customers, expanding and working alongside other Clearfield staff and personnel. Prior to joining Clearfield, Dale worked for multiple fortune 500 companies, including Delphi Automotive, Goodrich Aerospace, and most recently thirteen years at Emerson Electric Corporation now Copeland. Dale has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1992, M.S. degree in Materials Engineering 1998, and PhD degree in Materials Engineering 2007 with classwork at University of Dayton, Ohio State University and Air Force Research Institute, with research concentration at Wright- Patterson AFB in powder metal technology. Dale has several patents and publications and has presented at numerous technical conferences and seminars on various topics including sintered metal. Dale is an avid sports junkie whether coaching, playing or attending games, and loves the outdoors including fishing whenever he gets the chance. Dale loves spending time with family and believes family and God is everything and believes time is precious so cherish your time together. The cool thing about Clearfield is that it is a family away from your family!
