We are very proud to announce that we have been selected as the 2021 Gold Medal recipient for both “Best Manufacturing Company”, and “Best Powdered Metal Company” throughout our Tri-County area. It’s truly an honor to be selected out of so many manufacturing and powdered metal companies, and it is truly a testament to how hard our entire team works at making sure that we remain a strong company that continues to provide opportunities for everyone into the future, and a company that continues to invest into our local communities. Because of everyone’s efforts, our growth remains very strong, as we are currently adding a 22,000 sq/ft addition, along with significant new equipment, including a new six zone sintering furnace, and an 825 Ton molding press that will enable us to manufacture larger components. We are very grateful, and we would like to thank everyone for your votes of confidence in us! We look forward to the future as we stay the course at providing a great place to work and continuing to build the best powdered metal company.

It is with great honor to announce that our Sintering Supervisor, Bill Campbell, has announced his retirement effective June 26th. I first met Bill when I worked with him 20 years ago with a different powdered metal company. Bill and I worked together in the past in the Quality field, and I always respected Bill’s hard work, his level of commitment at doing his best, and making sure that he was focused on what was best for the company. I lost track of Bill after 2006, as I moved to another company, but I never forgot our work together. Moving forward a few years, I embarked at starting my own company in 2011, and one day when we were preparing our new plant for operation, in walked Bill! It was a pleasure to see him again, and it didn’t take us long to bring Bill into the Clearfield family. Bill, along with his sintering skills, has been a key part in helping us build this company, and we thank him for all of his efforts, hard work, and determination. I remember early on when Bill said to me, “I can’t wait to see how this company grows over the next few years, because I know it’s going to”. With any startup, there are difficult times and challenges…and I am often reminded of his words, as it helped me to see our future potential, and it helped keep me positive and moving forward. Bill will surely be missed by all, and it will take some adjustment for us to come to work and not see Bill here doing what needs to be done each and every day. Although a difficult chapter for us as a company, I am more excited for Bill’s new chapter as he enjoys his retirement and spends more precious time with his family. We wish Bill all the best, and we sincerely thank him for not only all that he has done, but more importantly, for being a good friend and a respected member of our Clearfield family.
